About Marie-France MacDonald
It starts with the artist...
Marie-france MacDonald is an interdisciplinary artist who is passionate about using music and theater to heal self and community. She teaches a holistic method of piano, voice and drama from her home studio in Waldwick, NJ, and specialized in neurodiversity -- the idea that everyone has a unique learning style.
She is the founding director of Dignity Productions, and a former host of Boston's Salon Sundays, a venue for performing artists. She is also the founder of Fernwood Theater and a third place winner in The First National Women's Playwright Competition in Canada. She has a long history of utilizing the arts as a vehicle for social healing, and she believes "It starts with the artist."
